Game of Faces is an interactive online game that measures participants' ability to predict others' decisions based on their facial expressions. This game was created for scientific research purposes by a group of researchers from various renowned institutions worldwide, including MIT, Max-Planck Institute, Toulouse School of Economics, University of Exeter, University of British Columbia, and Paris Descartes University.
The client provided me with a basic game layout and logic, which was critical to gathering the data required for their research. I began exploring different character designs, styles, and color palettes while keeping the game's scientific purpose in mind. Some of the initial drafts were discarded, and we ultimately settled on the final design.
The game features unique characters with distinct facial expressions and body language, and the UI design complements the game's purpose. The color palette is vibrant and engaging, and the layout is intuitive and easy to navigate.
